Prayer
Without prayer we are nothing. Prayer fuels our mission. Prayer enables our work to bear fruit. Prayer is the goal of all our efforts. As members of the PiCatholic community, we offer prayers both individually and with one another, for our own good and the good of all.
Prayer is an act of love. It was in prayer that Mary received the message of the archangel Gabriel. It was through prayer that St. Monica assisted in the conversion of her son, St. Augustine. It was in prayer that the apostles were strengthened by the Holy Spirit to bring the Gospel to ends of the earth. -
Donations
While much of our work is done on a volunteered basis, we still require financial donations to provide for many of the means to carry out the mission. The Diocese of Worcester helps significantly by providing a priest chaplain and other resources; the rest we must fundraise. Partnering with FOCUS costs us $72,000 per year, which includes the assistance of 4 full-time missionaries. Here are some of the other costs associated with our ministry:
$50 food for one Sunday brunch.
$50 provides 35 rosaries.
$100 4 Bibles.
$100 Food for one event (20 people).
$200 enables one student to go on a Newman retreat.
$300 Hosts and wine for Mass throughout the year.
$400 Candles for Mass and Adoration throughout the year.
$500 enables one student to attend Bible Study throughout the year.
$500 allows us to bring one student to SEEK.
$700 allows us to invite a speaker to our campus and events.
$1000 enables one student to participate in discipleship with FOCUS for the year.
